CM Mamta Statement on BSF: Now political turmoil has started after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s allegations against the central forces. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Sukanta Majumdar described Banerjee’s claims as baseless and accused her of trying to hide her party’s shortcomings.

BJP state president Sukant Majumdar said, “According to her (CM Mamata), the incompetent District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) of her administration are allowing foreign criminals to infiltrate the border to kill the elected representatives of her party. Till now, she was blaming the opposition for such incidents. But why did she suddenly make such claims about the misdeeds of her party’s representatives? Are you trying to hide it?”
