A fight that broke out against playing loud music in Delhi’s Rohini area on the night of 31 December and 1 January took the life of a 40-year-old man. The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra, who lived with his wife and three children.
Police received a call in the control room at 1:08 pm, informing about a fight between neighbors and the death of a person. Police reached the spot, where they came to know that Dharmendra, injured after a fight, has been taken to the hospital.

When the police reached the hospital, Dharmendra was declared dead. Initial investigation revealed that Dharmendra’s fight with neighbors Kapil Tiwari (26) and Piyush Tiwari (21) happened due to loud music. When Dharmendra protested against stopping the music, the accused beat him up.
Police arrested two accused
Dharmendra was seriously injured in the fight and died on the spot. Police have arrested both the accused and investigation into the case is ongoing. Dharmendra’s family is in deep shock due to his death. Police have registered a case in this matter under relevant sections.
