California Plane Crash: A plane has crashed in Southern California, America. According to the New York Times, a single-engine plane crashed into a commercial building in Southern California on Thursday (January 2) afternoon. So far, 2 people have died in this accident. There are said to be 18 injured. According to ABC News, Fullerton Police Department spokeswoman Christy Wells said that some people suffered minor injuries and some suffered serious injuries. 10 people were taken to hospital and 8 were treated at the scene and released.

The Federal Aviation Administration identified the plane as a single-engine Van RV-10. U.S. Representative Lou Correa, who represents Orange County, shared on Twitter (formerly Twitter) that the plane had crashed into a furniture manufacturing building. The accident occurred near Fullerton Municipal Airport, located about 6 miles from Disneyland.

Crashed one minute after take off
Fullerton police spokeswoman Christy Wells told The Associated Press that at 2:09 p.m. (local time) police were alerted to the crash in Fullerton, Orange County. After this, the fire brigade and police immediately reached the spot and controlled the fire and evacuated the nearby shops. Due to the fire, a warehouse has been damaged, in which sewing machines and stock of clothes were kept.

The four-seat, single-engine plane crashed about a minute after takeoff, according to flight-tracking website FlightAware. A video related to the incident is also going viral, in which the wreckage of the plane is seen burning on the roof.
