What can I say for Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma? Your faith, support and trust have shaped every step of this journey. I thank you as much as I thank people.

Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj also wrote an emotional note for Soham Desai. Siraj wrote on X, ‘It is never easy to say goodbye to someone who has been a guide, mentor and brother. This is not the end, you will meet again. Your effect will always be with me. Your absence will be felt in the dressing room, in the gym and in every race that we put.
Soham Desai also worked on the fitness of Gujarat’s Ranji team before the Indian team. Soham’s own fitness is amazing. They work hard on themselves along with the players in the gym. Desai is very fond of swimming and trekking. The BCCI has not yet announced the next strength and conditioning coach, but it is expected that there will be an appointment before the England tour.
