Buffalo Dispute: A dispute broke out over a buffalo in two villages located between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka border. Now the dispute increased so much that people of both the villages demanded DNA test of the buffalo. However, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka Police have solved this case without DNA test.
This is the case between Bommanhal village of Karnataka and Medehal village of Andhra Pradesh. People of both the villages are claiming that this buffalo is theirs, but the surprising thing is that there was no one to raise this buffalo but it was kept for sacrifice during the Jatra to be held at the end of this month. . As soon as this news reached the police, the villagers demanded a DNA test to solve the case. The villagers said that if the buffalo’s DNA test should be matched with its mother’s DNA, then the whole truth would come out.
The buffalo had gone astray while grazing on the grass.
What happened was that this buffalo was going to be sacrificed in the Sakammadevi fair to be held in January. Earlier it was left to graze on grass, but the buffalo went astray and was later found in Medehal village located in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. When the people of Bommanhal village tried to bring back the buffalo, a dispute arose between the two.
Reprimanded the villagers
When the matter reached the police, the tension increased further. Halharvi Police of Andhra Pradesh along with Moka Police held a meeting with both the villagers and resolved the matter by handing it over to the villagers of Karnataka, while the villagers from Andhra Pradesh side agreed to the decision of the police. However, the police also reprimanded both the villagers to end this issue immediately.
