Amarnath Yatra 2025: This year the period of Amarnath Yatra has been reduced. This time this journey will start from July 3 and will run for 38 days. The last time Amarnath Yatra was 52 days. After the Pahalgam terror attack, a big security plan was prepared to protect the holy journey in Jammu and Kashmir. A well planned plan has been prepared, including CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army.
A total of 581 companies of CRPF and other paramilitary forces will be deployed in security. Apart from this, Jammu and Kashmir Police will also be present. All security routes have been given security audit and digital mapping. CRPF DG himself has gone to Pahalgam and reviewed the security. The digital identity card of every passenger and pony rider will be made.
There will be jammers in the travel convoy so that an incident like IED blast can be stopped. The security personnel will have satellite phones. Payers and vehicles will have radio frequency identity (RFID). Police and CRPF will have separate dedicated PCR vans in the yatra. On 30 May 2025, Union Home Minister Amit Shah instructed all security agencies to make the upcoming Amarnath Yatra completely peaceful, maintaining excessive vigilance and vigilance.
