The political mercury has become hot due to a statement by Rajeshwar Singh, the status of Uttar Pradesh government. Speaking in Kushinagar district on June 5, he said that all of us have to take a pledge on the birthday of Maharaj Ji (CM Yogi) that no animal which is banned, has to be cut. There is a banned animal- cow mother… and we have to protect the cow mother. We will not allow any big animal to be cut off.

Minister Rajeshwar Singh said in a warning tone that Bakrid is coming. During this time we will not let Muslims cut cows. If banned animals are cut, then Muslims will also be cut and blood stream will flow in Kushinagar.

Actually, Rajeshwar Singh’s gesture was about Bakrid that in which the sacrifice of the goat is sacrificed. Regarding this, he bluntly said that under no circumstances will the banned animal be sacrificed. However, the police-administration is also alert about this. The police has made it clear that the sacrifice should not be given in a public place and the banned animal should not be killed. Strict action will be taken against the person working against the rules.
