So far 45 kg of pure gold has been used in the grand Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. Nripendra Mishra, chairman of Ram Mandir Construction Committee, gave this information on Friday. Gold worth Rs 50 crore in Ram temple
According to the report of the news agency, Nripendra Mishra said that the estimated price of this gold is around Rs 50 crore, which does not include tax. This gold is mainly used in decorating the doors of the floor of the temple and the throne of Lord Rama. He also informed that the work of gold is still going on in the Seshavatar temple.
Museum, auditorium and guest house work remaining
The main structure of the temple is now almost complete, but the construction of other parts like the museum, auditorium and guest house is still in progress and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
After the life prestige of Ram Darbar, now the process of darshan of this holy site is being started in a controlled manner for the devotees. At present, only limited number of devotees will be allowed to enter and for this, pass will be issued free of cost.
Pran of seven idols
Champat Rai, secretary of Ram Mandir Trust, said that a total of seven idols were respected in the temple premises on Thursday. The Ram Darbar has been established in the middle above the sanctum sanctorum on the first floor, while Shivling in the north-east, Ganpati in the south-east, Hanuman ji in the middle of the south, Sun God in the south-west, Bhagwati in the north-west and Annapurna Mata in the middle of the north.
Meanwhile, a large crowd of devotees gathered at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, but due to the scorching heat and insufficient shadow system, many people appeared upset.
Ram Durbar has not opened for common devotees yet
An official of the Ram Mandir Trust made it clear that the Ram Darbar has not been opened for common devotees yet. The philosophy system will be finalized in the upcoming meeting. This was the second major ceremony held at Ram temple, the first ceremony took place on 22 January 2024 as the life of Ram Lala, in which dignitaries from all over the country were present, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
