The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against five accused, including Khalistani terrorist Goldie Brar, in connection with the bomb blasts in two clubs of Gurugram. This case is related to the bomb attack in December 2024. The NIA filed this charge sheet in the special court of Panchkula on Friday.
3 arrested, Goldie Brar and Ranjit absconding
The charge sheet includes Khalistani terrorist Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar living in Canada, Ranjit Singh alias Ranjit Malik living in America and three others Sachin Talian, Ankit and Bhavish. Three of these accused have been arrested while Goldie Brar and Ranjit Malik are still absconding.
Attempted communal tension in Haryana and surrounding areas
According to the NIA, the attack was part of the conspiracy of the banned terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), which aims to spread communal tension and disturb peace in Haryana and surrounding areas. The accused had planned to bomb the Warehouse Club and Human Club at Sector 29, Gurugram. The attack was carried out on 10 December 2024.
The investigation revealed that the entire conspiracy was hatched by Goldie Brar and his colleagues. These people were engaged in raising funds to spread fear and terror in the country, procurement of weapons, arrangements of explosives and terrorist activities.
The NIA has filed a case against the accused under the Code of Justice of India (BNS), the Arms Act, Explosive Material Act and the Unlawful Activity (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The investigating agency says that these terrorists are trying to harm the integrity, sovereignty and economic security of the country.
