D4 anti draone system: Amid the increasing threat from China, Taiwan is looking towards India with defense deals. Taiwan has shown interest in buying state-of-the-art D4 anti-drain system created by India’s Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).

Concerned with China’s growing drone activities, Taiwan has taken this step to secure the boundaries of the country. Amid regional tension, Taiwan has shown significant interest in strengthening defense relations with India.

What did DRDO official tell?

According to the report of Moneycontrol, a DRDO official confirmed that Taiwan’s request reflects the increasing reputation of the D4 system as a war solution. He said that a successful deal with Taiwan could open the way for intensive defense cooperation, which includes a joint development of high-tech counter-drain technology.

In addition, China’s strategic access to Taiwan’s aggression in Indo-Pacific can serve as a significant retaliation, which can give a new look to regional safety mobility.
