The Bengaluru stampede case has made a new revelation on Sunday. DCP MN Karibasavana Gowda warned the state government on June 4 by writing a letter to the state government.
In this, he said that RCB’s fan following is all over the country. If there is a program at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, then millions of people can reach there. We do not have enough police force, which will make it difficult to make security arrangements.
After this letter surfaced, questions are being raised on the government as to why such a big event was allowed when the danger was already known.
In fact, on June 4, there was a stampede due to a huge crowd outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium, killing 11 people and injuring 75 people.

High Court asked 9 questions to the state government Who gave permission to Royal Challengers Bangalore to celebrate victory? When and how was this decision taken? Did the organizers take the necessary permission? These are some such questions, which will have to be answered by the Karnataka government in the High Court by June 10.
The bench of Karnataka High Court acting Chief Justice V Kameshwar Rao and Justice CM Joshi on Thursday raised these questions while hearing the writ petition.
Earlier on Friday, four officials of RCB and event management company were arrested. The court has sent everyone to judicial custody for 14 days.
Resignation of Karnataka Cricket Association officials Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Secretary A Shankar and Treasurer ES Jairam have resigned. Both have taken the moral responsibility of a stampede during the Victory Celebration of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Shankar and Jairam said in a joint statement;-
Due to unpredictable and unfortunate incidents in the last two days, we want to tell that we have resigned from our respective positions as KSCA Secretary and Treasurer. However, our role was very limited.

In the stampede, 11 people were killed, including BT Laxman’s 21 -year -old son Bhowmik.
Karnataka BJP shared a similar video on X on Saturday. In this, a person is seen crying from his son’s grave.
The person’s name is BT Laxman. His 21 -year -old son Bhowmik Laxman was killed in a stampede. In the video, BT Laxman is crying loudly near his son’s body and saying, ‘I bought the land I bought for him. I don’t go anywhere now. I also want to live here.
Bhowmik, a resident of Hasan district of Karnataka, was the only son of his parents and a final year student of engineering. He was among the 11 people who died of a stampede during the RCB’s Victory Parade outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

KSCA said- The responsibility of handling the crowd was of the event management company The Karnataka government on Thursday ordered the arrest of officials after registering an FIR against KSCA, RCB and DNA Entertainment Network. Karnataka State Cricket Association President Raghuram Bhat, Secretary A Shankar and Treasurer ES Jairam demanded the cancellation of FIR against him in the stampede case.
On this, the Karnataka High Court had given relief to KSCA officials from the arrest till the next hearing on 16 June. KSCA had earlier said in its petition in the High Court that the RCB and event management company had the responsibility of managing the mob at the gate outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
14 -day judicial custody to RCB’s marketing head Four officers of RCB and event management company were also arrested a day earlier on Friday. The court has sent everyone to judicial custody for 14 days.
The Bengaluru police arrested RCB’s marketing head Nikhil Sosale on Friday. He is accused of posting the Victory Parade and Ceremoni for free passes.

- The Bengaluru police arrested RCB’s senior marketing head Nikhil Sosale and 3 officials of the event management company- Kiran, Sumanth and Sunil Matthew.
- RCB’s marketing head Nikhil was arrested from Bangalore Airport while going to Dubai. He has challenged his arrest in the High Court. His petition will be heard on Monday.
- IPS officer Seemant Kumar took over as Bengaluru City Police Commissioner.
- The Bengaluru police arrested 4 officers of the RCB and the event management company. All have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
