However, on June 2, the mutilated body of King Raghuvanshi has been recovered from a ditch, but no information has been received about his wife Sonam so far. The police is investigating the case by interrogating local people and tourist guides. However, Indore has received information about what the newly married couple did during their journey before disappearing on 23 May. The police has also recorded the statements of the people in this regard.

At the same time, Sonam’s family believes that she must have been kidnapped, but still they have not given up hope of her being alive.

What did the couple do before missing

The couple, who hail from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, went missing since May 23. However, what the couple had done till 12 hours before the disappearance gave information about the tourist guide Bhakupar Vanashai. The guide said that the couple reached Shillong on 21 May. The next day, on 22 May, he reached the East Khasi Hills and put his rent scooty in the parking lot and hired a guide to trek in Nongriyat village.

Guide Bhakupar Vanashai said, “I took him out on the trek from Mavalkhiyat to Nongriyat, it took about three hours.” After this I left him back in Shipara Homestay. After this, he also took another guide named Albert Pade together. ” The guide said that we had also asked him for the next day’s service, but he refused and said that he knew that route.

At the same time, Shipara Homestay was told by the operator that he had reached the Homastay at 5:30 pm. After this, he cleared all the payment. After this, he got up five and a half in the morning on the next day (23 May) and said that he had to check out quickly and left the Homestay at around 6 am.

The man who had seen the couple for the last time was a tourist guide Albert, he told the police that he had seen the couple going towards Mavalakhiyat village at around 10 am on May 23 and had three more men with them. Both of them went missing since then.
