UPSC Mains Exam 2025: The results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 have been declared. A total of 14161 have passed this examination. When will the men’s exam be?
Now that the result of prelims has come, successful candidates should prepare for the next phase which is the men’s written test. How was the UPSC Prelims paper this year?
According to media reports, more than 1 million candidates appeared for UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam 2025, competing for only 979 vacancies advertised this year. Historically, the number of candidates selected for the main phase is about 12 to 14 times more than the number of available vacancies. Based on this estimate, this year there is a possibility of passing the initial stage of about 13,000 to 14,000 candidates and qualifying for the main examination, which is scheduled at the end of this year.
