Three people, including two innocent sisters, were killed in a tragic accident on Sunday in a densely populated raw road area of ​​Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred when illegal excavation work was going on near a multi -storey building.

Three people died in accident

According to the district administration, the deceased in the accident have been identified as 38 -year -old Totaram, 6 -year -old Yashoda and 3 -year -old Kavya. A person has been taken out alive from the rubble, who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment and his condition is said to be stable.

Mathura District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh, after inspecting the scene, said that the building was built on a mound, and his foundation was weakened due to illegal excavation, due to which this painful accident occurred. At present, the work of removing debris continues on a war footing to ensure that no one else is suppressed in the debris.

SSP Shlok Kumar said that some people were being excavated with the JCB machine with the aim of vacating a plot. During this time the building collapsed. Investigation has also revealed that most of the surrounding houses were built of soil and bricks, due to which they were very weak.

NDRF and SDRF team doing rescue operation

Teams of fire department, municipal corporation, civil defense and police are constantly engaged in relief work at the scene. Apart from this, teams of NDRF and SDRF have also been called on the spot. Local MLA Shrikant Sharma termed the incident as a “mafia operation” and demanded a high -level inquiry from the Chief Minister. He said that who allowed illegal excavation, it is a matter of investigation and the culprits should get strict punishment.
