A case of death has come to light due to drowning of three people while bathing in the river in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. On Monday, three people, including two brothers, drowned while taking a bath in the Saryu river. Officials said that according to Barahj’s Deputy Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Vipin Dwivedi, the victim was 24-year-old Pradeep, 21-year-old Rohit and 20-year-old Bunty Bunty was a resident of Mohdipur in Gorakhpur. The three of them came to their maternal grandfather’s house in Patel Nagar, Barhaj on Sunday.
SDM said, ‘The three went to the police station of Saryu river to take a bath. While taking bath, he went into deep water and started drowning. Local people, including the sailors at the ghat, took them out of the water and rushed them to the Barahj Community Health Center. But the doctors here declared him dead. Dwivedi told that Pradeep and Rohit were brothers. The dead bodies are being sent for postmortem.
Please tell that a month ago, a young man died of drowning during a religious program in Deoria. The incident took place at Chanuki Ghat in Banakta area where a religious ritual is going on. Meanwhile, while bathing in the river, two brothers went into deep water, killing the 21-year-old brother, while the younger brother narrowly survived.
As part of the ritual, many people of the village came to bathe and fill the urn in the river. Meanwhile, 21 -year -old Ajit Pandey, resident of Baidauli and his 18 -year -old younger brother Shantanu Pandey, along with other villagers also landed in the river. During the bath, both brothers went towards deep water and started drowning. Seeing the incident, there was a stir among the villagers at the ghat. People immediately jumped into the water and started rescue work. The villagers first took out Ajit, after which Shantanu was also taken out after some time. Both were immediately taken to the primary health center of Bhatparrani, where doctors declared Shantanu dead. At the same time, Ajit’s condition was said to be out of danger.
