A sensational incident came to light on Saturday at the power sub-station at Walggaon in Amravati, Maharashtra. He was angry with the frequent power failure and indifference of the officials concerned, two unidentified youths entered the sub-station and set fire to the table by spraying petrol on the table. Also, an attempt was made to attack the operator on duty there.
According to the information, the power supply in Revasa village was completely stalled from Friday night. The villagers tried to contact junior engineer and executive engineers several times, but both of them were found off. After this, the villagers turned to the sub -station, but from there they could not get any clear information. Angered by this neglect, some youths created a ruckus in the sub -station.
Angry youths set the table on fire by spraying petrol in the office. During this time an attempt was also made to attack the operator, although he narrowly survived. This incident of arson disrupted the work for some time in the sub -station and the furniture was gutted.
A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the young man is seen setting fire by putting petrol on the table. Taking this incident seriously, the police has registered a case against unknown accused under several sections of IPC, including sections like arson, obstructing government work and attempt to murder. Police said that the investigation of the case is going on and soon the culprits will be identified and arrested.
