The body of Captain Sumit Sabharwal, a pilot of Air India, who lost his life in the aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, has reached his residence in Powai, Mumbai, where his last visit is being prepared and the last rites will be performed in the nearby cremation ground. Captain Sabharwal tried till the last moment to save the lives of 242 passengers and 12 crew members aboard the aircraft, and the “Medade” call in his voice has been recorded in the call cockpit voice recorder.
