The police has solved the missing case of a 4 -year -old innocent child in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. GRP Agra has recovered innocent Aryan safely in less than 48 hours and handed over to his family members. A husband and wife have been arrested in the case.
The incident took place on 14 June. Around 10 pm, Aryan’s mother informed the GRP at Agra Cantt railway station that his son has been missing since noon. They are feared of something untoward. As soon as the information was received, the police came into action and immediately the investigation of CCTV cameras of the station premises was started.
CCTV footage revealed that the child had separated from his mother and went towards FOB (foot over bridge), where a suspect was seen holding a finger and sitting in a local train going towards Gwalior. On the basis of this information, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Railway, the GRP immediately registered a case and 14 teams were formed. The teams investigated more than 200 CCTV cameras and started monitoring every station.
Investigation revealed that the name of the accused from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh is Komal Singh, who works as a laborer and often travels by train between Agra-Gwalior. The police arrested Komal and his wife Rani from Gwalior. In GRP interrogation, Komal admitted that he had three daughters and he abducted the child in the pain of not having a son.
The accused had changed his clothes to hide the identity of the child and got his hair cut. However, innocent Aryan was recovered safely in less than 48 hours by GRP Agra and handed over to his family members.
SP Railway Abhishek Verma said- ‘As soon as we got information about the disappearance of the child, we immediately formed 14 teams and traced the location of the child under CCTV technical surveillance. The accused was identified and arrested along with his wife. This entire seizure is the result of our team’s hard work and dedication.
