Iran israel conflict: The Israeli army has said that it has killed the top army officer of Iran Ali Shadmani on Tuesday (June 17, 2025) in a major action.
Who was Ali Shadmani?
Ali Shadmani was the Emergency Commander of the Irani Army. Recently he was given the command of the entire army, because the earlier commander Ala Ali Rashid died in the first attack.
Ali Shadmani led both the Iranian Army and the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC). He was considered one of the most important military leaders of Iran. His death is considered a major setback for Iran’s army.
Tel Aviv and Jerusalem bang
Today, voices of loud blasts were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on Tuesday. According to AFP, siren started ringing in many parts of Israel, after which the army said that missiles from Iran have been fired.
Israeli army issued a statement saying this
The Israeli army said in a statement, “Some time ago, sirens were played in many areas after information about missiles from Iran towards Israel. The army also said that the Air Force is engaged in stopping missiles and retaliating when needed.”
After about 20 minutes, the army issued another statement, which said that now people in many areas can come out of safe places. The army also informed that search and rescue teams have been sent to places where the missile fall report was received.
Indian Embassy appeals to Indian people
The Indian Embassy has appealed to Indian citizens living in Tehran and people of Indian origin (PIOS) to leave the city as soon as possible and go to some safe place as soon as possible.
The embassy said in its message, “Indians and Pios who can get out of their own means, immediately go to a safe place.” This is the first time the embassy has advised people to get out of themselves. It is being told that there is an atmosphere of fear in Tehran and people are leaving the city in large numbers.
