On Sunday morning, the wheels and smoke started coming out of the wheels during the landing of Saudi Arabia Airlines flight SV-3112 at Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport. The aircraft left Jeddah Airport at 11:30 pm on Saturday night and reached Lucknow on Sunday morning. According to sources, the aircraft will be sent to Jeddah today after investigation.
The goods kept in the cabin fell over the passengers
During the landing, the heads of several passengers collided with the roof and the goods kept in the cabin fell on the people. A passenger said, “It felt as if the aircraft had fallen.” The flight also featured Abdul Mannan of Ayodhya. He told- We were kept sitting inside the flight for about an hour.
The flight crew did not give any information about any technical fault to us. We later came to know that smoke was coming out of the previous tire. The journey from Jeddah to India was normal, there was no problem, but there was a fear of sudden braking at the time of landing. “
The flight also featured Abdul Mannan (right) of Ayodhya. He said- He was scared of sudden braking at the time of landing.
Not technical disturbances in preliminary investigation
The engineering team investigated after the incident of smoke coming out of the aircraft wheels, but no major technical disturbances have been confirmed initially. DGCA has sought a report in view of the seriousness of the case, in which the passengers’ response and the pilot process will also be analyzed.
What is Aqua Management?
Aqua management is a technical process, which is used for safe landing when the rain or runway surface is wet. In this, the aircraft is lowered with a sharp shock, so that the wheels can remove the surface moisture and strengthen the grip. However, this process may cause uncomfortable shock to passengers, as in the event.
