INS Arnala Induction in Indian Navy: The Indian Navy is going to make the INS Arnala warship, which proves to be a time for enemy submarines of the country’s sea-creating enemy. Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE) The first Anti-Saberine Warfare Shailo Water Craft (ASW-SWC), INS Arnala (Arnala), produced by Kolkata, will be made part of the Indian Navy in the city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday (June 18). The GRSE has handed over the warship to the Indian Navy. Now the Indian Navy will officially include this ASW-SWC class warship. Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan will be present as Chief Guest on the occasion of INS Arnala joining the Indian Navy.
16 anti-Sabarine Warfare Ships being built for Navy
At present, 16 such ASW-SWC ships are being built for the Indian Navy. INS Arnala is the first ship in this category. The ship has been named the historic Arnala Fort in Vasai, Maharashtra. INS Arnala’s ideal is ‘Arnave Shauriyam’ i.e. valor in the sea. A special spiral conch is made on Arnala’s crest and Arnave Shauriam is written in Devanagari.
What is the specialty of INS Arnala ASW-SAW
The Anti-Saberine Warfare Shailo Water Craft (ASW-SWC) was designed and created for the operation series. Arnala is capable of warships, intelligence monitoring, coastal security, discovery and low-intensity marine operations in sub-constituency, sub-constituency. This is the 77.6 meter long Indian Navy’s largest diesel engine-warder-warship of 77.6 meter weighing more than 1490 tonnes.
It will bring transformative changes in India’s naval capabilities with the Arnala vessel joining the naval fleet. This will strengthen coastal security and will further strengthen India’s position as a self -sufficient maritime power in the strategically important Indian Ocean region.
