Earlier on Tuesday, 7 international flights of Air India were canceled. These included Ahmedabad-Landan, Delhi-Paris, Delhi-Vienna, London-Amritsar, Delhi-Dubai, Bengaluru-London and San Francisco-Mumbai flights.
66 flights of Air India canceled between 12-17 June
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Tuesday that between 12 and 17 June, Air India canceled 66 flights, including Boeing 787 flights. DCGA said- After the June 12 incident, Boeing 787 Series Dreamliner of Air India was investigated, in which no major talk about security was revealed.
DCGA said the aircraft maintenance has been found as per the current security rules. Air India Fleet has 33 Boeing 787- 8/9 aircraft. DGCA met with Air India officials on Tuesday. In this, DGCA has instructed the airline to focus on aircraft safety, hardening flight operations and fixing flight departure on time.

New flight from Ahmedabad to London AI-159 canceled again on Tuesday
The AI-171 flight crashed in Ahmedabad on 12 June. Instead, the new flight AI-159 from Ahmedabad to London has been started. The flight was canceled for the second consecutive time on Tuesday.
The flight was to fly at 1.10 pm, but a technical flaw was said a few hours before the takeoff. The flight was canceled on 16 June as well.
Air India flight AI142 from Delhi to Paris was also canceled after technical problems, which came out during the investigation before the flight. Apart from this, the flight coming from London to Amritsar was also canceled due to technical problems.
On the other hand, the flight AI-180 of Air India going from San Francisco to Mumbai caused technical fault on Monday night. Due to this, passengers had to take off the plane from Kolkata Airport on Tuesday morning.
The Boeing 777-200LR (Worldlineer) aircraft reached Kolkata on time on June 17 at 12:45 pm. It was to leave for Mumbai at 2:00 pm. The takeoff delayed due to technical fault in the left engine of the aircraft.
After this, at around 5:20 am, the captain asked the passengers to get down from the plane. He said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the flight safety.
The engine of the aircraft was examined at Kolkata Airport.
Bomb information in indigo aircraft
On Tuesday, an emergency landing was conducted at Nagpur Airport after threatening to bomb Indigo flight going from Muscat (Oman) to Delhi via Kochi. Airlines were informed that the bomb was placed in the aircraft.
The flight was then diverted and landed by Nagpur. DCP Lohit Matani of Nagpur said that all passengers have been taken off from safe aircraft and the aircraft is being locked. However, nothing suspect has been found yet.
The Indigo aircraft was diverted to Nagpur and landed.
June 16: Two flights of Air India had to return
- First flight: The Air India flight (number AI315) coming from Hong Kong to Delhi returned. There was a matter of technical fault in this. The flight was of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
- Second flight: A flight from Delhi to Ranchi was diverted back to Delhi immediately after flying due to suspicious technical problems. The Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft was to land at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi at 6:20 pm.
