Israel’s interceptors are decreasing rapidly, missile defense stock may end in 10-12 days: Report – Israel Interceptors Rapidly Declining Missile Defense Stock May Run Out in 10 to 12 Days Report Ntc

Israel’s air defense system is facing a serious crisis amid the ongoing war with Iran. According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, the number of interceptors stopping long -range missiles near Israel is decreasing very fast and in the current situation this system will be able to run only 10 to 12 more days. The report quoted an American official as saying that if Iran maintains the speed of missile attacks in this way, Israel will have to decide which missile should be intercepted and who is not.

Since the launch of ‘Operation Rising Lion’ by Israel on Friday, the Iranian army has fired around 400 ballistic missiles towards Israel, which is a part of its total estimated 2000 missiles. Many of these missiles have been hidden in underground bases.

Officials in Tel Aviv told the Wall Street Journal that one-third missile launcher in Iran has been destroyed and claimed that they have gained an edge in Iranian airs. However, intelligence sources warned that more than half of Iran’s missiles remain intact, a part of which is probably hidden in underground facilities. However, Israel’s multi-layer air defense system- Iron Dome, Davids Sling, Arrow System and the US have heavy financial pressure on Patriot and Thaad.

Israel has to spend about 1 billion shekels (about 285 million dollars) to stop missile attacks every night. The price of an interceptor missile of Arrow system alone is said to be $ 3 million. In such a situation, defense experts believe that if there is no immediate military supply from the US, it will be difficult for Israel to maintain its security system due to limited resources.

Amidst this pressure, some Iran’s missiles have also been successful in dodging Israel’s security system. On Friday, a missile fell near the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, while on Sunday, a major oil refinery was directly attacked which had to shut down. On Tuesday morning, another missile attack took place near Israel’s intelligence hideout, which has also been confirmed by social media videos. So far 24 people have died in these attacks and more than 600 people have been injured.
