The UP STF team had made a long interrogation of the arrested members of this racket. Then it was revealed that one of the accused Sandeep Pandey is absconding. On his arrest, UP STF declared a reward of Rs 25000. In search of him, there was a continuous raid.

On Thursday, Sandeep Pandey climbed into a police hand in the Nawabganj police station area of ​​Prayagraj when he was present at his hideout with Naufil, who was involved in the racket selling pre -cotted SIM. During interrogation, it was found that Naufil runs a shop in Prayagraj in the name of Marshal Mobile. He had taken VI distributorship in the name of Aghari Communication.
He used to get the ID proof and verification of the buyer who came to buy a SIM with the officers of the company twice and activate two SIMs together, gave one SIM to the customer and kept the other SIM with him. Then after collecting 200 to 300 SIMs, they used to sell activated SIMs together.
According to STF, Naufil was selling pre -active SIM through the caught Sandeep. UP STF suspects that in the last 3 years, this gang has been sold to more than 10,000 active SIMs from fake documents. Because of which cyber crime and other crimes are happening.
