A surprising case has come to light in Mumbai. Here a person tried to cheat himself by calling himself an officer of Google Pay. The case is of Kurla in Mumbai where a vicious thug who tried to cheat a tailor was arrested by the police.
Accused Iman Iman Iiyas Khan was trying to win the trust of the shopkeeper by calling himself an officer of Google Pay. According to the complainant Manuddin Sajjad Ansari, who runs a tailoring shop in Kurla, Khan came to him two days ago and described himself as a representative of Google Pay.
He asked Ansari if his digital payment system was updated. On Ansari’s saying ‘Na’, Khan said that this can stop transactions and ask for mobiles.

Ansari unlocked his phone and mobile with the app and gave it to him. Khan pretended to ‘update the system’ and said that it will be updated in 10-15 minutes. But Ansari was suspicious and immediately checked his transaction history.
Surprisingly, the transaction of ₹ 10,000 was done from his account. When he questioned Khan, he called it a ‘mistake’ and called someone. In a short time ₹ 10,001 was transferred back.

Ansari, showing vigilance, informed the police and the VB Nagar Police has arrested Khan on charges of cheating and forgery. The police is further investigating the case.
