State Bank of India has started two new schemes to provide huge profits to its customers. Both these schemes will give huge interest to the customers and will also provide many other facilities. These two schemes of SBI are- Har Ghar Lakhpati RD scheme and SBI Patrons FD scheme.
Har Ghar Lakhpati is a pre-calculated recurring deposit scheme designed to help customers deposit Rs 1 lakh or in multiples thereof. ‘SBI Patrons’ is a Fixed Deposit Scheme, which is especially for senior citizens aged 80 years and above.

SBI said in a statement that the Har Ghar Lakhpati scheme simplifies the process of achieving financial targets, allowing customers to plan and save effectively. This product is also available to minors, encouraging early financial planning and saving habits.
Only people of 80 years can apply
‘SBI Patron’ is a special fixed deposit scheme designed for senior citizens aged 80 years and above. The new SBI scheme offers enhanced interest rates keeping in mind the long-standing relationship with the bank that many senior citizens have. The bank said in its statement that ‘SBI Patron’ is available to both existing and new FD investors.

SBI has launched new deposit schemes with high FD rates for its customers. One such scheme is the SBI V-Care Deposit Scheme, which offers an interest rate of 7.50% to senior citizens for tenures ranging from 5 years to less than 10 years. Apart from this, SBI 444 Day FD Scheme offers an interest rate of 7.75% available to senior citizens till March 31, 2025. Another option is the SBI Amrit Kalash FD Scheme, which offers an interest rate of 7.60% for a tenure of 400 days to senior citizens. This scheme is also available till March 31, 2025.
