A big case of fraud in the name of recruitment in the Indian Army has come to light in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. In this case, an accused has been arrested in the joint action of Army Intelligence and UP STF. The name of the accused is said to be Rahul Kumar. He used to cheat people in the name of getting them jobs in army and other government departments. He used to charge Rs 20 to 25 lakh from a candidate.
According to the information, Rahul Kumar, who committed fraud in the name of job, has been arrested near the oil depot railway gate of Meerut. The police had come to know that he along with his associates used to cheat people. He used to charge huge amount from them. A case has been registered against him in Sadar Bazar police station of Meerut. Many fake documents have been recovered from him. These also include five fake admit cards of the Indian Army.
Earlier last month also, in a joint operation of STF and Military Intelligence, a gang involved in cheating in the name of recruitment in the Indian Army was busted. Dhirendra alias Manoj, a member of this gang, was arrested from Madhunagar intersection of Agra. He was a temporary computer operator. He used to cheat people in the name of providing them jobs in the army canteen store depot.
This arrest was carried out after STF and Military Intelligence received information. Various documents and items were recovered from the arrested person, which included Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, ATM card, fraudulent documents related to bank transactions, two mobile phones, a bike and Rs 600 in cash. A resident of Etawah had complained about this matter.
The name of the complainant was Anil Yadav. He complained to the Military Intelligence that Army Havildars named Manish Bhadauria and Jaskaran Pathania had cheated him in the name of getting them jobs on temporary posts in Canteen Store Depot, Agra, through Dhirendra alias Manoj. He was paid a huge amount for this process. After investigating this case, STF had arrested the accused Manoj.
