US President Donald Trump claims that he has played an important role in stopping the wars on many fronts worldwide. Meanwhile, the Government of Pakistan has formally proposed the name of Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize of 2026.
In a statement issued by Pakistan, Pakistan said that Trump’s name was decided to propose the name of Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize due to Trump’s decisive diplomatic intervention and important leadership during the war between India and Pakistan.
Pakistan appreciated Trump’s intervention for ceasefire with India. The statement said that due to Trump’s efforts, ceasefire was caused by a major threat of war. He is entitled to this award.
Pakistan said that in response to India’s Operation Sindoor, Islamabad started Operation Bunayan. This increased the tension between the two countries rapidly, but due to Trump’s intervention, the stress in the area helped to decrease. This intervention is a proof of Trump’s role as a peacemaker. There is also a proof of his commitment to end this struggle through dialogue.
However, Trump does not think he will win the Nobel Prize for Peace. Trump told in a social media post that I am happy to say that together with External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio, we have made a treaty between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Rwanda. The war between the two has been known for the bloodshed for decades. It is a great day for Africa and is also a great day for the world. But I will not get the Nobel Prize for Peace for this.
He said that I will not get any Noble to stop the war between India and Pakistan. I will not get a noble of peace to stop the war between Serbia and Kosova. There will not be a noble for restoration of peace between Egypt and Ethiopia.
