International Yoga Day 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day among millions in Visakhapatnam. During this, he also gave a message to the world that yoga belongs to everyone and is for everyone. PM Modi said that Yoga has added the whole world.
PM Modi said, ‘Yoga means to join and Yoga has connected the whole world together. Yoga is of all and yoga is for everyone. It has become a part of the lives of all people today. Today, for the 11th time, the whole world is doing yoga together on 21 June. Yoga has a simple meaning- to connect and see how yoga has added the whole world. Yoga gives us the direction of peace.
Yoga belongs to all, for everyone: PM Modi
PM Modi further said, ‘When I see the journey of yoga in the last decade, I remember a lot. The day when India proposed in the United Nations that June 21 was recognized as International Yoga Day and in the shortest time 175 countries of the world stood with our proposal. In today’s world, such solidarity, such support is not a normal event. This was not just the support of a proposal, it was the collective effort of the world for the good of humanity. Whether it is the stairs of Sydney Opera House, whether it is the peaks of Everest, or the sea expansion. The same message comes from everywhere – yoga is of everyone and for everyone.
Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan were present with PM Modi
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan were also present on the stage with PM Modi. The theme of yoga this time on Yoga Day is ‘Ek Earth, Yoga for One Health’. This program will be associated with ‘Yoga Sangam’ to be held at more than 1 lakh places across the country. More than 2 crore people participated in it.
