10 -year -old Jayasith Chauhan died in a tragic accident in Alvin Colony (Jagadgirigutta police station area) of Telangana. The incident happened when Jayasith was riding his bicycle and suddenly fell under the school bus. The accident occurred from a quantum leap school bus, which is usually run near Gokul flats.
Jayasith’s father Mukesh Kumar said that his family has been living in Tulsi Nagar, Alvin Colony for the last 35 years. The evening of the accident was playing a bicycle while playing in Jayasith Colony. At the same time, he suddenly fell and came under the wheels of the school bus coming at a high speed.
Soon after the accident, Jayasith was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors said that he had suffered a serious injury to his spine. He was being shifted to another hospital for better treatment, but he died on the way.
After the accident, there was mourning in the area. Expressing deep grief over the incident, Jayasith’s father has demanded strict action against the school management and the bus driver. He said that this is not a normal accident but a result of negligence, which should be punished.
Local people also expressed displeasure over the incident and demanded the school administration to decide the responsibility. At the same time, the police have registered a case and started investigation. This incident once again raises many questions about monitoring school buses, their speed limit and safety of children.
