The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a person from Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh in the case of sexual abuse and pornographic material (CSAM) related to child sexual harassment and online spread. This action was taken on 21 June, which is part of the CBI’s ongoing campaign against the sexual offense of children.
CBI filed a case by taking cognizance of automatic cognizance
The CBI had registered a case in this case on 17 June 2025 taking suo-moto. According to the investigating agency, the accused has serious allegations of uploading, collecting and spreading pornographic photos and videos related to minors and uploading them on the internet.
Large number of porn videos and photos found
On June 19, the CBI raided the accused’s house and seized several electronic equipment from there. Forensic examination of seized equipment found a large number of pornographic videos and photographs, including sexual harassment, rape and mental harassment of minor children. This material was also found to be matching the ICSE database of Interpol and Cyber ​​Tipline reports (CTR) sent by Google.
The rapid investigation of the CBI also revealed that the accused himself used to take pornographic pictures of the children and sexually abused them. By identifying these children, the CBI has saved them safely.
This case is also shocking because neither children nor their families complained to any police station. The matter came to light with the CBI’s active cyber monitoring and international cooperation.
The CBI has appealed to the public to inform the police or cyber crime cell immediately if anyone knows about such cases. At present, the accused is in custody and investigation is on.
