Ind vs eng 1st test: The first Test being played between India and England is becoming exciting. India have scored 471 runs in the first innings of the match. In response to this, England have scored 209 runs for 3 wickets till the end of the second day’s play. Had the drama not been done in the last over of the day, England would have fallen 4 wickets. This over was taken by India’s most successful bowler Jaspreet Bumrah. He had caught Harry Brook in the last over of the day but even before celebrating it came to know that it was no ball.
This was the 49th over of England’s innings. It was decided that no over would be thrown during the day after this. Jasprit Bumrah performed 3 no balls in this over. Due to his third no ball, England’s fourth wicket kept falling. This ball of Bumrah was a bouncer. The Harry Brook, just landed at the crease, cheated to put hooks on it. As a result, the ball went into the air. Mohammad Siraj took an easy catch on this. Absolutely laddus catch. But the Indian team could not celebrate this catch properly. Before the celebrations were celebrated, the umpire indicated the no ball. In this way Harry Brook got life.
Jasprit Bumrah did 9 balls in this last over of the day. After the over, England’s score was 209 runs for 3 wickets. Oli Pope returned unbeaten pavilion at Pope 100 and Harry Brook 0. But if that ball of Bumrah was not no, then only Oli Pope would return unbeaten. Then England would score 208 runs for 4 wickets… Sadly, this could not happen due to Bumrah’s mistake.
