The US has attacked three nuclear sites in Iran. These include Fordo, Natanj and Ishfahan nuclear sites. These attacks have been carried out by the US Air Force from the most advanced fighter jet B2 bompers. These bombers are being told that thousands of kilograms of bombs have been dropped on these three sites, which is especially famous as a bunker buster bomb. MOP is a bomb weighing 30,000 pounds especially to destroy underground bases of land. This bomb is made of very strong steel alloy, which gives it the ability to enter the ground hundreds of feet inside. After this, this bomb goes inside and explodes, which is completely eliminated by the hidden locations inside.
According to the US Air Force, this bomb is GPS-guided and can only be dropped from B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber. The specialty of B2 Bomber is that it can hide long distances from the radar and reach the target by filling fuel in the air itself.
Although no official information about this bomb used in any war was made public so far, military experts believe that this bomb has now become more advanced and effective than before. Defense officials say that this bomb may penetrate into a depth of up to 200 feet, and its development has further increased its capabilities in the last 20 years.
The US Air Force currently has 19 operational B2 bomber. They fly at the subcutual speed but their range is quite long. For example, during the 1990s Kosovo War, B2 Pilots targeted the target directly by flying from the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, USA. In 2017, two B2 bombers flew for 34 hours and attacked the Islamic State camps in Libya.
Although Israel has used America bombs in Gaza, Lebanon and now air strikes in Iran, its fighter aircraft are not able to carry such heavy bombs. This is the reason why Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was constantly demanding Trump to join the strike against Iran.
