Dinesh Karthik has expressed concern for Jaspreet Bumrah and said that the captain will have to find a way not to put more pressure on Bumrah.

New Delhi. On the second day of the first Test against England, Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets for 48 runs in 13 overs, while Mohammad Siraj, famous Krishna, Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur did not take any wickets in the remaining 36 overs. Oli Pope scored a century and Ben Docket scored 62 runs. Dinesh Karthik has expressed concern for Bumrah and said that the captain will have to find a way not to put more pressure on Bumrah.
Karthik further said, “Bumrah’s body was tired in the fifth Test of Australia tour, that is why he removed his name from the list of captaincy options. He has already announced that he can play only three Tests in this series. When barely 60 overs are thrown in a day, Bumrah has already thrown 13 overs. Every time you need to be a wicket, Bumrah has to be thrown away.”
Karthik further said, “He always does this for you, so you get into that habit. Others will definitely have to find a way to inspire the captain and say, ‘I am ready, give me a ball, this is my plan, I want to bowl.” Let me tell you that Bumrah’s troubles had increased due to the fall of two catches and Harry Brook’s wicket fell on the no-ball in the last over of the day.
