New Delhi. Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly believes that it will not be ‘easy’ for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to maintain their sports fitness till 2027 World Cup. Kohli and Rohit retired from T20I cricket after the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup. After this, he also announced his retirement from Test cricket within a week in May 2025. Both have expressed their desire to play 2027 World Cup and however, they will be around 40 years old. However, in ODIs he has been one of the best players in the world.
Ganguly said, “Sannyas should be taken when people ask ‘Why?’ And why not? As a player, you always knew your place that they were not the best in the last 5 years, but champions like him find the way to find themselves again.
Let us know that Virat Kohli is living in London and it is being said that he has recently invited the team members to his house. On the other hand, Rohit is also enjoying some time after IPL 2025. India will play the next ODI against Bangladesh in the three -match series, which starts from 17 August. Rohit Virat may appear in this series.
