India’s domineering captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly spoke on his future plan in a podcast. He avoided politics but did not refuse to be the coach of the Indian cricket team.

Kolkata. Sourav Ganguly, who was India’s domineering captain, is not interested in politics but he is ready to become the coach of the Indian team. Ganguly spoke openly on Indian cricket in a podcast and also spoke on the future plan. Would you like to be the coach of the Indian team, when asked, he said, ‘I did not think about it because I have been in different roles. I stopped playing cricket in 2013 and then became the BCCI President. Can you contribute even more by becoming the coach of India? On this question, Ganguly said, ‘Let’s see what happens next. I am 50 (53) years old. Let’s see what happens. I do not mind this.
Sourav Ganguly praised the current coach Gautam Gambhir and said that he has caught the rhythm since the Champions Trophy in Dubai. He said, ‘Gautam is doing well. Their start was slow. We lost to Australia and New Zealand. But after the Champions Trophy, he has caught the rhythm. The series against England will be important.

Asked how skilled strategists are Gambhir, he praised Gambhir’s passion and belagon. He said, ‘I have not seen him very closely in this role but I have seen his passion. I did not look at his strategies closely because I did not work with him while his coach. Ganguly said, ‘He talks directly and sees things clearly. He keeps his thoughts openly. About the team, the players, the people and all. From outside you can say that he is a very transparent person.
Ganguly recalled the days of his playing and said that Gambhir always respected seniors a lot. He said, ‘I have played with him. He always respected me and senior players. There is still a lot of passion within him about his work. I wish him all the best. It has been a year since he became a coach. The tour of England will be important.
