A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Govind Nagar in Kanpur. 58 -year -old brother Bhagwan Das, who lives here, brutally murdered his 62 -year -old sister Draupati. It is alleged that angry with the sister’s taunts, he first attacked the neck with a Banka (knife -like weapon) and then took a current with electric wire and killed her.
According to the information, Draupati did not get married all his life and spent life in the service of her brothers. After the father’s death, he raised his two brothers. A brother works in Gujarat, while Bhagwan Das lived with him. He used to work in a factory. Draupati, who has been ill for some time, often used to become irritable.

Meanwhile, on Saturday night, there was a debate between the two, in which the brother spoke of suicide. On this, the sister taunted and said that before dying, kill me, then go. Hearing this, Bhagwan Das became uncontrollable and really murdered. At first he attacked the sister’s neck with Banka, when he saw that the breath was still going on, he tied a naked electric wire to his feet and put a current.
Due to this, the sister died on the spot. After this, Bhagwan Das changed his blood -stained clothes and went towards the railway line with the intention of suicide by eating medicines of depression. He reached Govindpuri station and was found lying on a bench in a state of semi unconsciousness. The police recovered him and admitted him to the hospital.

ACP Babupurwa Dilip Singh said that the accused has confessed to the crime. The post -mortem of the sister’s body has been done and handed over to the family. Information has been given to the younger brother living in Gujarat. The report will be filed on the basis of its complaint. At present, the accused is under police supervision in the hospital and further action is being taken in the case.
