Amid the increasing tension between Iran and Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that his country will continue the campaign in Iran until all its military objectives are fulfilled. Netanyahu said that we will not get caught in war, but Iran will not end the campaign ahead of time. The Israeli army had said on the previous day that they are preparing for a long war potentially in Iran.

PM Netanyahu said that there has been a big loss at the Fordo Atomic Center, although complete information about its effect is yet to be revealed. He also said that Israel has received “interesting intelligence” about Iran’s 60% rich uranium location. Netanyahu said that Israel is very close to Iran’s nuclear program and its goal of destroying ballistic missiles.

The Israeli Air Force (IDF) has confirmed that its fighter jets are currently targeting military structures in Tehran and western Iran. However, he also clarified that “the decision to change the governance in Iran is to take the people there and not us.”

UN General Secretary’s appeal for diplomacy

United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres has described the attacks on Iran’s nuclear bases by the US and Israel as “dangerous turns” and said that by stopping this struggle, one should return to serious and continuous talks. He said, “We need a solution that is reliable, comprehensive and verified, in which IAEA has full access.”

Guterres has appealed to Iran to fulfill its commitment under the International Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and said that the United Nations is ready to support every effort to find a peaceful solution to the entire crisis.
