Lalit is a player from Varanasi to win the medal in the Olympics twice Lalit Tokyo was the most important forward player of the Indian hockey team to win the bronze medal in the Olympic 2020. Lalit Upadhyay has been appointed to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in UP. Three years ago, CM Yogi gave him an appointment letter during the ’15th Men’s Hockey World Cup ‘unveiling at a residence in Lucknow. Lalit Kumar has given the country a bronze medal in the Olympics. Lalit Kumar has previously rejected the offer of DSP counterpart OSD in UP Police.
Rejecting the post of OSD, Lalit said-
Neither the uniform nor promotion of UP Police will be found in this job. I am currently working as a manager in BPCL. So, now I have been appointed to the post of DSP. Chief Minister, I am thankful to your sports love and every possible cooperation and encouragement. Along with this, with my own hands, I thank you with my heart for providing appointment letters to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in Uttar Pradesh.
