Neighboring Pakistan has been nervous due to Israel on Iran and then US attacks. After the US air strike on three nuclear plants in Iran, Pakistan is calling the Emergency Meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) on Monday. This meeting will be chaired by Shahbaz Sharif in which Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir is also going to participate.
Sources in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) told the Pakistani newspaper Dawn that the NSC meeting will be held on Monday evening. Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir will also attend this meeting. During this, Munir will also give details of his conversation with Trump to the committee. Munir recently returned to meet US President Donald Trump.
Asim Munir met Donald Trump last week and had lunch with him. Four days later, the US attacked Iran’s nuclear plants. Pakistan has criticized US attacks on Iran. In a phone conversation with Iran’s President Masood Pipeskian, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the US attack and Israeli aggression.
In an official press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, it was said that during this time the Pakistani PM confirmed the unwavering solidarity of Pakistan with the people of Iran and the government and expressed condolences on the loss of life and property.
He expressed concern that the US attacked the nuclear plants that were under the protection of the International Atomic Energy Agency. He said, “These attacks are serious violations of international law and IAEA law.”
On one side demands Nobel Prize for Trump, criticism on the other side
When Asim Munir met Donald Trump last week, he was very proud of his hospitality. After this, Pakistan had announced that it is going to nominate him for the Nobel Prize for Trump’s alleged efforts in the India-Pakistan ceasefire.
The next day, on Saturday, the Trump administration increased the war by attacking Iran. In such a situation, it was said that how can the Nobel Prize to start the war. In Pakistan too, this decision of the government is being questioned and people are asking the government to reconsider the decision.
