Landslide in Uttarakhand killed female devotee, husband and daughter injured – Woman Pilgrim from Haryana Dies in Landslide Husband and DAUGHTER Injured in Uttarakhand

A painful accident occurred near Patalganga on the Badrinath National Highway on Monday in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, in which a car of a devotee from Haryana was hit by a car landslide. In the accident, 36 -year -old female devotee Shilpa died on the spot, while her husband and 10 -year -old daughter were seriously injured.

According to the report of the news agency, the accident happened when the family was going towards Badrinath Dham. Meanwhile, a sudden landslide occurred near Patalganga between Joshimath and Pipalkoti and his car was damaged due to the fall of rocks. Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari has confirmed the incident and said that the injured have been immediately admitted to Piplkoti Health Center.

The deceased has been identified as Shilpa (36), who was a resident of Fatehabad, Haryana. Her husband Ankit (40) and daughter Khwishish (10) were injured in the accident. Police and State Disaster Pregnancy Force (SDRF) reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations and took out the people trapped in the debris.

Traffic on the national highway has been completely disrupted due to the accident. Due to rocks and debris, there was a long jam on the road, causing passengers to face a lot of trouble. Efforts are on to clean the route with the help of JCB and other machines by the administration.

In Uttarakhand, there are more landslide incidents during the monsoon, which not only disrupts traffic, but also loss of life and property. Appeal has been made to devotees and tourists to get information about the weather and road conditions before going on the journey.
