According to which Fatehabad town will be named Sindurapuram and Badshahi Bagh area will be named Brahmapuram. The proposal to change the name has been passed by the district president in the board meeting. At the same time, now this proposal has been given to the state government. After getting permission from the state government, the name of both the towns will change. This information has been given by a news agency.

According to the information, Agra District Panchayat has decided to change the names of Fatehabad town and Badshahi Bagh area to Sindurapuram and Brahmapuram respectively. In this regard, District Panchayat President Dr. Manju Bhadoria proposed in the board meeting on Monday and passed unanimously. Now it has been sent to the Yogi government for approval.

Bhadoria said that the proposal has been advocated to change the name as it is a symbol of slavery. It is said in the proposal that the city was earlier called Samugarh and later its name was changed to Fatehabad. It has been suggested in the proposal that its name should be changed to Sindurpuram. It also suggested that the Badshahi Bagh area of ​​Fatehabad can be renamed Brahmapuram after BrahMos missile and Lord Brahma.

At the same time, another member of the board said that the local people were demanding to change the name of both the towns long ago. With which a meeting was called on behalf of the District Panchayat President on Monday. In this meeting, a proposal was made to change the name of both the towns.
