On the Jaipur-Ajmer highway, the tanker filled with chemical near Maukhampura on Wednesday morning overturned uncontrollably. As soon as the tank overturned, it caught fire and the driver burned alive. After the accident, there was a long jam of vehicles on the highway.
The accident occurred in Maukhmpura police station area at around 8.30 am. The tanker filled with methanol overturned and caught fire. Shortly, he turned into a fire shell. People present on the spot said that the tanker suddenly became a fire. On receiving information about the incident, Maukhampura police station and fire brigade reached the spot. The fire has been controlled with the help of the form.
Head Costable Madan Kaswa said that the team reached the spot on getting the information. The tanker driver Rajendra was burnt alive in the accident. Information is being taken about other people. The cause of the accident will be investigated. Right now traffic is being extracted from a route. Traffic has not been opened through this route.
People left the vehicles and ran away at around 8.30 am as soon as the accident took place, people left their vehicles and ran towards the fields. People felt that their vehicles would also be burnt due to this. Seeing the fire of fire, people went as far away.
