Left -handed batsman Pant has become India’s first wicketkeeper to score 800 rating points in the Test rankings. He scored 134 runs in the first innings of the Test match played against England in the headingley while contributed by 118 runs in the second innings. Pant became the second wicketkeeper to score a century in both innings of Test after Zimbabwe’s Andy Flower. Andy Flower did this feat in 2001.
