Assembly elections are to be held in Gujarat in 2027, but elections will be held in Punjab before that.
Preparation for Gujarat election begins
In a program organized to welcome Gopal Italia and Sanjeev Arora, Arvind Kejriwal said, “This victory of Gujarat … is a point of 2027 elections.” It shows that the people of Gujarat did not have an option till date … Now AAP has come like an option… People see you as hopeful.
On such occasions Arvind Kejriwal definitely narrates some story. In this program of Delhi, Kejriwal said, the people of Gujarat have been stricken … I met a minister of Gujarat government … I told me that the people here are stricken due to the 30 -year rule of the BJP… want to defeat, but the BJP has such a hold on the administration that it will not be known or not.
Then Arvind Kejriwal said, I said that this is a democracy … The day the public will stand … big wealth will be shaken.
Arvind Kejriwal also talked about the position of Congress in Gujarat. Said, Congress is not an option… Congress is sitting in BJP’s lap… is in pocket. In the last election, Congress got 17 seats … In 17, 5 MLAs went to BJP … We got 5 seats, an MLA went into BJP.
Now Arvind Kejriwal wants to use tested tips in Visavadar in the upcoming assembly elections. Kejriwal spent more time in Ludhiana, but there was also full emphasis on Visavadar. Visavadar’s victory is of great importance
Visavadar has been the stronghold of former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel. In 1995 and 1998, Keshubhai Patel reached the assembly on a BJP ticket. Later too, BJP won this seat till 2007. But, 2012 Keshubhai Patel formed his Gujarat Parivartan Party, and this seat came out of BJP’s hand.
After the resignation of Keshubhai Patel, the by -election was held in 2014, Visavadar Congress won, and retained in 2017 as well. In 2022, this seat came to the Aam Aadmi Party’s share, and the BJP remained mashed. BJP took Congress MLA Harshad Ribdia in 2017 and Bhupatbhai Bhaiyani of Aam Aadmi Party in 2022, but still the matter did not happen.
Arvind Kejriwal caught this matter and broke down on the BJP. Arvind Kejriwal told the people that there is a BJP government in Gujarat but the BJP could not win the seat of Visavadar for 18 years. Kejriwal explained to the people how the BJP sometimes breaks the Congress and sometimes his MLA, but loses the election.
And challenged the hands that this time the Aam Aadmi Party has fielded its hero, and if the BJP takes Gopal Italia, they will leave politics. It seems, the people of Visavadar were also angry with the BJP’s tactics, and supported Gopal Italia.
