A situation of disagreement has come up within the Congress for repeated praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Shashi Tharoor. On Wednesday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked party leader and MP from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Tharoor indirectly. A few hours later, Tharoor shared a message in English in an X post on social media which means, “There is no need to fly, the wings are yours, and the sky is no one.”
This message is being seen as a gesture of displeasure with Tharoor’s party. This comment has come at a time when questions are being raised by the party leadership on the praise of Prime Minister Modi on Tharoor. In fact, Tharoor recently described Prime Minister Modi as “a major property for India”, leading a delegation to be exposed to Pakistan on terror in relation to India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ abroad.
