Information about the kidnapping of three government officials is coming out in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. One of the hostage officers died of a heart attack. Police said that all these officers were allegedly going to Tank district from Dera Ismail Khan for duty.
Police said three government employees, including a District Accounts Officer, were abducted on Wednesday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of North-West Pakistan, one of whom died of a heart attack during the incident. All government officials have been done by unknown people near Hathla area on Tank Road.
Police said that the deceased officer has been identified as District Accounts Officer Naid Jafar Khan. All the officials kidnapped by unknown people were allegedly going to Tank district from Dera Isllell Khan for duty.
The police later confirmed that Nawid Zafar died of a heart attack during the kidnapping, while his associates had been safely rescued after a rescue operation by security forces. Since this incident, questions have been raised on the security system in the entire area and the local administration has started investigation to catch the culprits.
