The Congress on Wednesday wrote a letter to the Election Commission on the allegations of disturbances in Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. This letter is the Election Commission’s answer to the letter sent to Rahul.
In fact, on June 12, the Election Commission (EC) wrote a letter to Rahul. In which Rahul was called to discuss his allegations of rigging in the assembly elections.
Now after 13 days, Rahul did not go to meet EC but a counter letter was sent from the Congress. In which the party demands that he be given a digital copy of the voters list in Maharashtra elections. Also provide videography of voting day.
The Congress said, if the Election Commission sends data to them within a week, then they are ready to discuss it with EC.
Election Commission had said- elections in the country would be transparent On June 12, EC wrote in a letter sent to Rahul that elections are held in the country very strictly through the Election Commission’s instructions from the Election Commission passed by the Parliament of India. The Maharashtra assembly election process is conducted centralized at the assembly constituency level.
It includes EC appointed BLO, 288 Electoral Registration Officer, 139 General Observer, 41 Police Observer, 71 expenditure Observer and 288 Returning Officer and 1 lakh 8 thousand 26 booth level agents appointed by national and state political parties in Maharashtra. These include 28,421 agents of the Congress.
What Rahul had accused?
Match fixing was done in Maharashtra elections. Similar fixing will now be in Bihar, then it will be there where the BJP is seen losing.
Rahul wrote- hiding the allegation confession
Rahul Gandhi wrote on X- The voter list of the constituency of Maharashtra Chief Minister (Devendra Fadnavis) increased by 8% voters in 5 months. Some booths increased by 20 to 50% voters. The BLO reported the votes of unknown people.
The media discovered thousands of voters without verification addresses. The Election Commission is silent on this. Is this complicity? These are not different disturbances. This is the theft of votes. It is a confession to hide it. Therefore, we demand immediate release of machine reduced digital voter list and CCTV footage.
Maharashtra CM said- Crow cut lying
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said on Rahul’s claim- This is a frustrated claim arising out of the defeat of the Congress. Lie said the crow cut, fear the black crows. It is clear that the brunt of your party’s derogatory defeat in Maharashtra is deepening day by day. How long will you continue to shoot arrows in the dark?
Fadnavis said- It would have been better to talk to people like your party colleagues, Aslam Sheikh, Vikas Thackeray and Nitin Raut before posting this. At least such a huge lack of dialogue within the Congress is not publicly exposed.
Fadnavis counted the seats where voters increase and Congress+ally won
- Voters in Western Nagpur increased 7% (27065 voters). Vikas Thackeray of Congress won.
- North Nagpur increased by 7% (29,348 voters). Nitin Raut of Congress won here.
- Bapu Pathare of Sharad Pawar faction won with a 10% increase in Vadgaon Sherry in Pune (50,911 voters).
- Jitendra Awhad of Sharad Pawar faction won with a 9% increase in Mumbra (46,041 voters).
