Driver Sumit told- He was taking the passengers to Badrinath Dham after getting the passengers darshan from Kedarnath. Meanwhile, a truck hit the traveler from behind near Gholatir in Rudraprayag. This led to a mini traveler to Alaknanda. Sumit hails from Haridwar. They have also suffered serious injuries. They are being treated at Rudraprayag Hospital.

The bus was also running SDRF rescue in Garhwal area, 40 km from the accident.

Rescue running up to 40 km SDRF jawans are conducting a search operation near the dam in Srinagar, Garhwal, which is 40 km from the Rudraprayag bus accident site. So that, those bus passengers can be searched which would have been swept away in the river due to the strong current. Utarakhand Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman said- We have been successful in saving 8 people. So far 3 people have been reported dead. The search for the rest of the people is going on.

Rajasthan’s group came on Char Dham Yatra Due to the collision of the truck, some people sprinkled with a traveler and hanged on the hill, which were removed. Other people are also being discovered. Local police including SDRF and NDRF are present on the spot. A group of Rajasthan came on a Char Dham Yatra, which was going for Badrinath Darshan, all these passengers are said to be from Rajasthan.
