London: India’s mixed Divyang team registered a thrilling win by defeating England by 2 wickets in the last over in the third match of the mixed Divyang Vitality T20 series played at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground.
After the victory, Ravi Chauhan, general secretary of the Divyang Cricket Council of India (DCCI), said that, ‘We dedicate this historic victory of our team to Kapil Dev Sir’s 1983 World Cup winning team.’
Apart from this, on this day, 25 June is also celebrated here as World Mixed Divyang Day. The match was part of Cricket Disability Day at Lord’s.
A. for England Brown scored a wonderful innings of 77 runs (5 fours, 5 sixes) in 47 balls. Brown for the last wicket. Added 35 runs in 17 balls with Pile (4 not out) to bring the score to 100. He took 18 runs in the final over with the help of two sixes on Tarun’s balls.
